First Post! Sort of!

Welcome to the Bastard’s new blog, where you can quickly become educated on how to be an arrogant, cocktail-slinging jerk-face like yours truly.

First off, you will notice that my first post, is not, in point of fact, my first post. There are a variety of other posts preceding this one. Thats because they are from my old piece-of-shit xanga blog, but will be finding their new home here. The old piece-of-shit xanga blog will continue its miserable existence, cataloging the mundane non-booze-related flotsam and jetsam of my day to day experiences, but as it turns out, the consumption of alcohol is an important enough part of my life that I need a whole new fancy-shmancy blog just to document it. Of the posts that will be written newly and exclusively for said fancy-schmancy blog, this is the first of them, hence, title.

Next you will notice that for all my xanga-directed shit talking, this new blog is neither fancy, nor schmancy. Well you can shut the hell up and quit all your noticing. This blog is driven by the all-powerful ruby-on-rails-based Radiant CMS version 0.6.9, which comes with THREE themes: empty, simple-blog, and styled-blog. You are gazing at the stylishly default layout of styled-blog. However, despite styled-blog being more awesome than you can conceive, it will soon be replaced, for cometh the more-all-powerful-than-ever-before Radiant CMS version 0.7.0, and with it a new theme: Roasters. It is fancy, it is schmancy, and you will prostrate yourself in reverence and awe of it. Eventually.

In the meantime, kick back and enjoy the back-posts of yesteryear.
