Fellow Americans, our most important secular holiday is upon us: Repeal Day. This isn't just any Repeal Day. December 5, 2008, marks the 75th anniversary of the passing of the 21st Constitutional Amendment: the Repeal of Prohibition. So next Friday, imbibe with gusto! I'll be throwing a cocktail party of some sort with friends. If you can't make it, go out and have a drink. Or stay in and have a drink! If you can't drink, buy some booze for someone who does. Celebrate the freedoms you still have, while you still have them.
