About the Bastard

John is an arrogant jerk whose presence no one would even tolerate were it not for the fact that he mixes some goddamned delicious cocktails—a fact that he will incessantly point out to you in an offensive and condescending manner. When the bastard isn’t coding, drinking, trolling the Mixoloseum chat-room, or doing some combination thereof, he will on occasion blog about his creations and their constituent parts. He resides in Eugene, Oregon, which we point out to you only so you know to stay the hell away from there.

The Bastard’s Booze Blog is powered by Radiant Content Management System, hosted on Dreamhost, and developed on a Mac using Coda, Aquamacs, and occasionally Photoshop. Stats are tracked with Google Analytics. The site is best viewed in a reasonably fast, modern, standards-compliant web browser, which is to say, anything but Internet Explorer. If you complain that something doesn’t display properly in your crappy browser, I will snort, laugh at you derisively, say many rude things, and exclude you from my elitist little club.
